Fergie Happy with Attack

Sir Alex Ferguson has no worries about Manchester United's attack, despite the fact that United have scored just seven goals in eight games so far this season!

He said: "All the front players have been slow to get on to their game - that's understandable with Wayne with his injury and Tevez missing pre-season.

Rooney Looking for a Win

Wayne Rooney is desperate for a win against Roma - to help Manchester United to Champions League Glory.

"I am desperate to get off the mark," said Wayne.

"It has been a disappointing start for myself getting injured. But I am happy to be back playing and have played three games now and hopefully I can start scoring again and help the team win."

Fergie: Ryan is Amazing

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is amazed by the way Ryan Giggs takes care of himself.

"Ryan is 34 in December and I don't see any deterioration in him. That is quite amazing considering he is a forward," he said.

"The way he looks after himself has a lot to do with it. He won't play in every game but he will be here next season.

Tevez: I Love United

Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is happy to chose to play in England ahead of Spain and Italy.

"Playing in England is wonderful," he said in Champions, the official UEFA Champions League magazine. "You have the fans at hands' reach and they put you on a roll.

Queiroz: We ca Trust Kuszczak

Carlos Quieroz believes Tomasz Kuszczak is every bit a Manchester United player!

"Tomasz made one very good save and showed why he is a Manchester United player," said Queiroz.

"It is very hard for him behind a player as good as Edwin and he has had to wait for his opportunity, but we are very confident in his ability and we have no worries."

Ferdinand: Getting Better

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits they're still some way from their peak after victory at Birmingham City on Saturday.

He said: "There's no better feeling than coming off the park than we've won especially with a clean sheet. The longer we continue to do that, the better chance we've got of winning things.

Hargreaves: Tough Roma Game

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has played down expectations ahead of their Champions League meeting with Roma.

"There will be no repeat of the 7-1," he said.

"Those results possibly happen once every three or four years in the entire competition. It is just not going to happen again.

"As long as we get the three points, I will be happy."

Vidic, Brown Out

Manchester United defenders Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic were missing from training today ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Roma.

The pair picked up knocks during Saturday's Premier League win at Birmingham and while there was no guidance from United as to whether their participation against the Italians was in doubt, it would be a major surprise if either missed out.
