Saha Sale saves £7m
Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson has saved Manchester United nearly £7million in wages by letting Louis Saha leave on a free transfer.
Despite paying £12.8m for the 30 year old in January 2004, United have ripped up the final two years of the French striker's £65,000-a-week contract.
But Everton boss David Moyes insists the former Fulham hit-man can prove a hit if he ends his injury nightmare.
Moyes said: "Louis is a good centre-forward who has a bit of everything. He can run, head the ball and score goals and he has not cost us any money.
"There will be some money after he's played some games, but there is no initial outlay and he has to play before we pay. If I can get Louis out there 20 times a season, that would give us a chance of winning 20 games."
