Vidic Impressed by Benzema

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic admits he was impressed by Olmypique Lyon striker Karim Benzema after the youngster scored in last night's 1-1 draw.

United are chasing Benzema for next season and Vidic said: "Lyon have some good players and Benzema caused us some problems.

"But scoring near the end makes it feel a little bit like a victory. We are capable of finishing games strongly because we have so much strength on the bench and Nani and Tevez made a big difference when they came on."
