Is Morgan Schneiderlin on his way out of Old Trafford?

Morgan Schneiderlin arrived to Manchester United on July of 2015 with a price tag of £24 million and in his debut season as a player of the Premier League club, the French midfielder was able to make 29 appearances as he quickly became a regular starter.

Unfortunately for Schneiderlin, he is no longer a regular starter as the French player has mostly been on the sidelines of Manchester United as a substitute player. It appears like the 26 year old midfielder just isn’t in the plans of Jose Mourinho, as the Portuguese manager prefers to utilize the services of other players in the center of the pitch.

It’s not like Schneiderlin is a permanent player that is seen on the sidelines as he certainly does get time on the pitch with the first-team but compared to his debut season, it’s a significant drop. This is a player that was getting consistent time in the main team during the season of 2015-16 as he was a fairly regular starter and now he has not even started in a Premier League in any of the 11 opening matches of the season that have been played so far.

This drop to the sidelines and lack of consistent playing time in the first-team have served as fuel for a number of transfer rumors that have been emerging which have linked Morgan Schneiderlin to various clubs including: Ac.Milan and Crystal Palace.

Those clubs are rumored to be interested in signing the 26 year old French midfielder and both of those clubs are attempting to secure the services of Schneiderlin however it remains uncertain if Manchester United are interested in offloading a player that joined back on July of 2015, this is not even 2 years ago and £24 million is a pretty hefty fee for any player.

If Ac.Milan and Crystal Palace are truly interested in signing Morgan Schneiderlin they might have to release an offer in the region of £24 million or maybe even higher and that way Manchester United will at least be able to re-coup back the money they spent in signing him.
