United Planned To Bid Huge For Vidal

Manchester United has planned to place a huge bid of over 40 million Pounds to Juventus for the Chilean playmaker Arturo Vidal.
Actually, there were reports that the Red Devils have already reached an agreement with Vidal about the weekly wages and now, it’s all up to Juventus to decide if they want to accept the bid or not.
But, it’s made clear from United’s side that there has been no agreement with the player.
One thing that United would want to be absolutely sure about in Vidal’s case is that he doesn’t carry any injury issues to the club.
Vidal had gone under the knife when the previous season was over. His recovery from that surgery was not that long though as he had got fit for the World Cup, but, still, United would like to make him go through an intense medical test.
The Red Devils want Juventus to let Vidal come to England so that his fitness can be assessed by their medical staff and then, the talks regarding the deal would go forward.
It remains to be seen if the Italian giants would agree to do something like this. Normally, a player’s fitness is tested by the buyer club only after the bid for transfer fee is accepted.
One of the sources close to Manchester United was quoted as saying, “United is a bit concerned about Arturo’s knee. They want to have a thorough check and get assured that he is completely fine coming to the club.”
“Juventus also doesn’t seem to be unwilling to let it happen. This is a bit unusual method though as far as the transfers are concerned.”
Vidal has found the back of the net 28 times in Serie A for Juventus. He is 5 away from completing 100 Serie A appearances.
