Tevez: More to Come

Carlos Tevez admits Manchester United fans are still to see his very best.

Tevez is happy at Old Trafford and has nothing but praise for his team-mates as they continue to challenge for the Premier League title.

He said: "(Wayne) Rooney is a phenomenon and a great man. (Paul) Scholes is unbelievable. I see him every day. His quality and personality are tremendous. He is the engine of this team."

Tevez is United's second-highest scorer this season with 13 goals in all competitions, but the player himself feels he has still not reached his best.

He said: "I am playing at a 70 or 80 per cent of what I can really do. I'm finding it quite difficult to get over each match. In the last 25 minutes, the level drops. I always do my best but it's difficult for me to keep this level."

The Argentina international feels so fatigued that he is looking at the possibility of not joining up with the national team for the World Cup qualifier against Brazil in June.

He said: "My body needs a rest. I have had no holidays for two years. I want to be calm, with my family, thinking about nothing for 20 days. Since the Copa America (last summer), I've had no rest. I will see how I am in May, when the season finishes."
