Fergie: We Want to Win

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Manchester United want to win Group F after qualifying for the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League.

"I think if we win the next game that's us winning the group and that's what we intend to do."

Despite a perfect night of results for United, Ferguson still picked the bones from his side's display.

"I don't know about the perfect performance, but it's a perfect result for us," he continued. It gets us into the next stage of the Champions League so we must be very pleased with that.

"They made it very difficult for us. It was something new for the younger players. We needed a breakthrough. We got a break and Pique's manage to score on the second ball.

"It opened up the game for us after that. In the second half we were far more comfortable. When Rincon came on they caused us a lot more trouble. He created some openings for them. In the main, in the second half, we had some great chances and could have scored more."
