Vidic Happy with Point

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic says they can be happy with the point earned from yesterday's1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers.

"It's a big point," the Serbian centre back told MUTV after the final whistle at Blackburn. "At the end of the day we were losing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go and we equalised. So we're happy.

The Serbia international has missed the last three games after suffering a knee injury against Roma in the Champions League.

Vida Out of Arsenal

Crocked Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic will miss the Premiership showdown with Arsenal this month due to his knee injury.

United feared their first choice centre-back, 26, had damaged knee ligaments when he was carried off in Rome on Tuesday night. But scans showed the injury is not so serious and he will be out for up to three weeks.

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic admits he was impressed by Olmypique Lyon striker Karim Benzema after the youngster scored in last night's 1-1 draw.

United are chasing Benzema for next season and Vidic said: "Lyon have some good players and Benzema caused us some problems.
