David de Gea is certain that Marcus Rashford will make history

Marcus Rashford is making a name for himself in this season as the 18 year old player has scored 4 goals in 7 appearances for Manchester United in the current campaign.

The English attacker has helped out his team in staying in the upper section of the Premier League, his latest contribution to the squad was evident during Manchester United’s match against Aston Villa where he was the only player who scored a goal and it was enough for the team of Louis van Gaal to seal a victory and secure 3 points.

Rashford joined the youth academy of Manchester United back when he was 7 years old but it a few months ago when he managed to make his official appearance in a competitive match for the Premier League club and so far his impact has been undeniable.

Even though Rashford has made less than 10 league appearances for Manchester United, he has already received praised from notable figures in the world of football and one of them is David de Gea and the Spanish goal-keeper believes that Rashford has what it takes to mark his name in the history-books of Manchester United.

"It's unbelievable. He is really young and he's scored many goals. Hopefully, for many years, he'll be at this club and can make history for the club as well. He's a shy guy; he is a really good lad and a good team-mate. He's a really good guy." Manchester United’s David de Gea said as he praised Marcus Rashford.

David de Gea released that statement after Manchester United had defeated Aston Villa 1-0 with the only goal of the entire match arriving from Marcus Rashford. This victory was crucial for Louis van Gaal and his team as they need all the points that they can get in order to secure a Champions League spot that will allow them to compete in the European competition in the upcoming season.
