Anderson: Attack, Attack, Attack

  • 11 April 2008

Anderson admits Manchester United could never play defensive football at Old Trafford.
After victory over Roma last night.

Anderson said: "There was no chance of us playing considered football. The fans wouldn't stand for it. At our ground, defensive football is not an option. The fans always push us to attack and so that's what we do."

Meanwhile, former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson is happy to see fellow Brazilian Anderson doing so well at Old Trafford. "(Sir) Alex Ferguson has been able find a good place for him in the team, it would be a waste if he kept him out.

"The most difficult thing for a Brazilian is the adjustment to the city, because it is almost always raining and you do not see the sun. It seems that he is settling well and the fans already like his game a lot."
