Manchester United are making cash claims against the Scottish FA over injuries suffered by midfielder Darren Fletcher.

The Daily Mail says Fletcher reported for duty with Scotland yesterday - despite Manchester United making two cash claims against the SFA following injuries to the midfielder.

As United struggled to maintain any attacking rhythm, Sporting were shooting on sight and Anderson Polga shocked Kuszczak with a snap-shot that the keeper held at the second attempt.

Fletcher: Chance will Come

Darren Fletcher is confident he will have a key role to play for Manchester United over the coming months.

The Scottish midfielder has struggled with a number of minor injuries this season, while he has also been kept on the sidelines by the emergence of summer signing Anderson.

"Obviously, you want to play in every game," he said.

Kiev's defence was poor. Actually to be blunt, they were awful for much of the match. They looked disjointed against a United side whose attacking wave of Carlos Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs were a cut above sublime.
